Privacy Statement
LemNet.com has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy. The following discloses the information gathering and dissemination practices for this Web site: http://www.lemnet.com/ LemNet.com is based in Bristol, England. Information Automatically LoggedWe use your IP address to help identify you and your account. When you login your IP address is recorded and, if your first few page requests come from the same IP address, only request from the recorded IP address will be honoured. If your IP address changes you will be required to login again. We keep a record of which accounts have been logged into, when and from which IP address. This information is periodically deleted or you can delete it yourself by ensuring you log out after you have finished in the members area. For every banner impression or click on a banner we record which site the banner was displayed on, the webmaster's chosen page name for that site, which site was being advertised and the IP address of the viewer. This is used to provide the member's statistics pages, to provide overall statistics for the administrators and to help adminstrators detect members who are potentially abusing the banner exchange. Administrators have access to the unprocessed log files. We record the IP address of anyone signing a guestbook, which is made available to the guestbook owner, or voting in a poll, which is only used to prevent duplicate votes. When the visitor feedback feature is used, we record the sender's email address and the recipient's username, but we do not record the subject or content of the message. AdvertisersWe use an outside advertising company to display some adverts on our site. These adverts do not contain cookies. We do not currently use any cookies in our own adverts, but this may change. Registration FormsOur site's registration form requires users to give us contact information (like their name and email address) and demographic information (like their age and country of residence). The customer's contact information is used to get in touch with the customer when necessary. This will normally be to inform them about changes to their account, for example their banner image being approved. In the future we may introduce a regular newsletter. If we do, a newsletter opt-out feature will be included on the website.
Demographic and profile data is also collected at our site.
